Spanning Belize's coastline for 185 miles is an outstanding, mostly, undiscovered barrier reef. The second longest barrier reef in the world has dive sites inside and outside of the reef offering coral strewn lagoons and sheer walls. There are also three major offshore atolls, the famous "Blue Hole" being at the centre of one of these atolls. Numerous mangrove systems both offshore and along the coast create a tremendous wetlands environment. Inland there are the Mayan Mountains, tropical rainforests and the Mayan heritage to explore. This is a unique country with much to offer those that crave adventure and top quality diving and wilderness experiences.
